The wicked will not prosper!!! The wicked will not prosper!!!! God detests the way of the wicked, but He loves those who pursue godliness! Yes, thank You Lord!!! It says it right here in His precious and holy Word in Proverbs 15:9. I went on a search in the Bible for what God has to say about wickedness. In the translation I chose there were over 400 verses. In none of these verses does it say that God will bless the wicked or that they will prosper. It may seem to us that they prosper here on earth but this is not the end – there is way more to it than this life on earth that we know as the here and now. I have shared several of these verses below. In Luke 3:17 it speaks of it in another way – while he will gather the wheat into his barn, the chaff will be burned with unquenchable fire!!! Wicked = chaff? In Psalm 73, Asaph who was a leader in the temple choir and lived a modest life began to envy the wicked and those who seemed to prosper. Until he went into the sanctuary of God and things became clear to him. It was an illusion, a fantasy or a dream that these wicked ones seemed to do well here on the earth because in what really matters – eternal life unless they repent and turn to Christ they will be thrown into the unquenchable fire as noted in Luke 3:17. Abba – Father, precious Lord!!!! Thank You for revealing these things to me as I searched Your Word for answers. Often the god of this world – satan will blind us with his lies and make us want and long for the things of this earth that do not matter in the course of eternity because we cannot take them with us!!! Thank You my loving Abba that my reward is in heaven with You and I can sit at Your feet and worship You forever more!!!!!
