Proverbs 21:1
The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, like the rivers of water – He turns it wherever He wishes.
We just have to remember that no matter what – God is STILL IN CONTROL!!! The hearts of kings (rulers, presidents) like rivers of water can be unsettled, fluctuating and unstable. But the Lord can steady and fix them. The heart of Pharaoh was hardened and softened at the Lord’s will. The Lord can turn the hearts of men as He pleases as He is their Maker. He can take out of their will – hardness, unbelief, or pride and replace it with light where there was darkness. Christ, the King of Kings is sometimes said to be as rivers of water as His heart is as a good king’s, full of integrity, wisdom, faithfulness, and goodness,
