I remember the days of old, I ponder all your great works and think about what you have done. I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. Come quickly Lord and answer me.
Is that something that we could say that we have ever done? Do we thirst for God and His word? God waits for us to thirst for Him and when our spirits are overwhelmed, we too can reach out to Him for His comfort and care. King David in the midst of his hopelessness, knows that his God is the very hope he is searching for. His soul thirsts for God and His grace and mercy. David looks around and sees the works and power of God and raises his hands in prayer in the midst of the storm he finds himself in. His soul thirsted for God as a parched land thirsts for rain. He asks God to answer him quickly. Sometimes it does seem like it takes God a long time to answer but we also need to stay the course and realize that God may have something better for us than what we are asking Him for. Precious Abba – Lord of all!!! Thirsting for You is something that we too should experience. In King David’s hopelessness he realized that You alone had the answers – the same is true for us.

Jesus said "FOLLOW ME."

Jesus never said to follow the "crowd." Jesus is NOT in the crowd.
