May your Kingdom come. May Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Notice that it says, Your will be done? Not our will – but His. So often when we pray we forget to add the part about it being His will and not ours. So often when we pray for something and He doesn’t answer our prayers we might get angry with God and say why are you not answering our requests. He knows what is best for us and answers our prayers in His will and timing, not ours. So perhaps when praying today remember to add that important statement and acknowledge that it is He who is in control and not us!!
