Who is this King of Glory? The Lord strong and mighty!! Here in Psalm 24:8 the word glory is being uses to describe heaven itself. He is glory itself. He created man for His glory. Man glorifies God in that we follow His Word and are following His precepts and commandments. The heavens declare the glory of God in that they show the beauty of His creation and are as a masterpiece painted on a canvas the beauty of them shows and glorifies who He is. The Glory of God is the beauty of His spirit. It is the beauty that comes from His character, from all that He is. Abba Father thank You for Your Glory – the beauty that comes from who You are. The word glory and glorious are used in Your word in reference to You and the things that You have created and I give all glory and honor and praise to You!!
