Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.” Mark 11:22 (NKJV)

Although we may wish otherwise, the Christian life is a journey of faith. We like tangible evidence. We are comfortable with proven cause-and-effect scenarios. We turn the key, and the engine starts.

Faith is intangible. It is not so predictable. Yet faith is the unseen dynamic for Christian growth and living. It is the indispensable core of a vital spiritual existence. And for good reason. Faith in God is His requirement for fruitful, enduring ministry. Faith is the barometer of genuine Christianity, which is a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

When you express your faith in Christ for your particular needs or desires, you acknowledge your dependence on God. You are drawn intimately near Him as you believe in His purpose and provision. God wants your being—your entire personality—committed to Him, not to a cause or religion or philosophy.

Thus, faith is the highest expression of your allegiance to the Lord. When you place your FAITH in God, you confess your absolute TRUST in His personhood.

The Lord wants to fellowship with you. Do you place your faith in Him because you seek results or because you know Him and love Him?
