I think that few people ever allow the Holy Spirit to have control. Everywhere I look people are submitting to occult practices of positive thinking and shoving people out of their way to get what they want, and even saying witchcraft prayers to curse people out of their way.

People are not free in this world to live their lives and make their own way in this world. Everyone wants to join the so called “elites” who dictate to others what they can or cannot do. To work to succeed or climb that ladder of success is only available to a select people. EVERYTHING is under the enemy control who decides “WHO” gets to do what, when and where. All I hear is the word “can’t.” Can’t do this and can’t do that. Can’t go here and can’t go there. But we will allow you this if you remain in your place.

So many people who have reached so called success in this world have sold their souls out to Satan, and many are admitting to it now. All the success, fame and money in the world won’t mean a thing once your spirit leaves this world and you enter eternity.

I look forward to the Millennial Reign when the enemy will be in hell and the Lord Jesus will reign. Then there will not be all this unfairness and superiority. -Admin-

Do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit. Ephesians 5:18 (NKJV)

Many people find it important to maintain the feeling that they are in control of their lives and all decisions, and the chance of losing any of that autonomy is scary.

Yet when the Bible speaks of being controlled by the Holy Spirit, the meaning is entirely different. Being controlled by the Spirit is not something to be afraid of; you do not become a robotic creature unable to think or act independently. The Spirit indwells you and fills your spirit, but He never insists on control. In fact, by deciding not to listen and pursuing your own course, you can effectively drown out His gentle voice.

Paul told the Ephesians: “Be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” Yielding to the Spirit’s control results in beautiful praise to God and a spirit filled with joy and renewed purpose, and that’s nothing to be afraid of.
