GOD’s PLAN AND POWER

One of the things I learned from my horror experience with a false prophet is how so many people are seeking false prophets like they would seek a psychic or medium looking for answers to their future.

The Bible says that NO ONE knows our future except for God. Personal prophecies are NOT BIBLICAL and they are most definitely NOT FROM THE LORD!

Many of these people believe they are seeking the Lord but the only way to seek the Lord is by getting alone with Him in your prayer closet. Your future is between you and the Lord only. When you seek, believe and accept personal prophecies from self-proclaimed prophets then you are giving Satan permission to intervene in your life.

Therefore those who seek, accept, believe or even rely on such false prophecies are bringing doom and destruction upon themselves. You may not see that right now but the Bible tells us that God will bring strong delusion to those who refuse the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). These people will discover the lies they bought into on judgment day when they face God and He says “Depart from Me. I never knew you.” -Admin-

Now the Lord came and stood and called as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant hears.” 1 Samuel 3:10 (NKJV)

You have probably known people who insist on serving God on their own terms. Before they even ask God in prayer what He wants them to do, they already have their plans mapped out. Before long, otherwise good and noble projects go wrong, and they don’t understand why. Charging ahead without seeking the Lord’s will, or ignoring His counsel, almost always brings negative consequences.

Samuel learned how to listen to God’s voice and how to respond. Just as Eli had told him, when Samuel heard God’s call in the night, he answered, “Speak, for They servant is listening” (1 Samuel 3:10 NASB). Samuel was ready to hear and obey whatever his Master told him; he waited for the Lord’s command.

Do you seek God’s instruction, or do you try to do His work in your own strength? For whatever He asks you to do, He provides the plan and the power to accomplish it. God’s work done God’s way means sure success.
