He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation. Ephesians 2:14 (NKJV)

Your freedom from sin’s penalty and power do not come cheaply. Your symbol of true freedom—liberty from the chains of sin and self—is a costly one. It is steeped in the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son.

On Calvary, Christ fought and secured your deliverance from sin. He paid the supreme price, the sacrifice of His divine life. The grace of God is wonderful, paid by God to God through Christ’s torturous death.

Bearing the guilt of your sin, He died in your place, turning aside the wrath of holy God. His sacrifice satisfied God’s justice and opened heaven’s doors to those who place their faith in Him. There is nothing passive about the Cross. There is nothing cheap about salvation. It is a gift—a costly one.

Have you received Christ as your personal Savior? The gift of eternal life is free if you believe, but it was secured at a most extravagant price.
