Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. Psalm 143:8 (NKJV)
As a follower of Christ, you are certain to encounter seasons of darkness and difficulty. These times can be confusing: God seems distant; His will remains hidden; His voice is quiet; His presence appears dim.
You can panic; become frustrated; be disillusioned and disappointed; stagger and stumble. In your darkness, however, you must remember that your Guide, Christ Jesus, navigates your way.
As you cling to Him—trusting Him to guide you—and as you confess your dependence on Him, you learn to be confident in His loving care. Christ knows where you are today and where He will lead you tomorrow. The darkness cannot hinder Him.
