Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 (NASB)

Who knows what the coming year may bring? But herein lies our confidence—God knows. He is carefully, wisely, and deliberately orchestrating all things according to his schedule and eternal design. We can be secure because God is in full control of what the year brings forth. Our confidence is not in our abilities, but in His omniscience, omnipotence, and omnipresence. What seems perplexing and puzzling to us is perfectly rational and plain to our all-seeing, all-caring Father. Nothing catches Him by surprise. Nothing thwarts His purposes. Nothing foils His plan.

You may find yourself in hard times. But if you boast in God and endure and trust in Him, you can learn. You may encounter unanticipated changes, but your fears and anxieties can be dispelled as you rest in His providential direction and provision.

Do not worry about tomorrow. God is already there. He will guide you through the fog, lift you above the pain, and clarify your uncertainty. Be confident in Him.
