2 Corinthians 4:1-6

You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:26-27

The gospel of Christ—the plan of salvation, the redemption, the sanctification, and the glorification of man—finds no greater expression than in the word grace.

Where there is no grace—unmerited favor bestowed with no anticipation of return—there is no gospel of Christ. You begin the Christian life by grace and continue in grace for eternity. You can never make yourself more presentable to God. His grace, given to the believer through Christ, His Word, and His Spirit, bestows His acceptance and unending favor upon you.

Such grace is a fathomless reservoir of unfailing love, available to all who call on the name of Christ. Kenneth Wuest writes in his Word Studies in the Greek New Testament:

“There is enough grace to give every saint constant victory over sin, and then some more. There is enough grace to meet and cope with all the sorrows, heartaches, difficulties, temptations, testings, and trials of human existence, and more added to that. God’s salvation is shock proof, unbreakable, all sufficient. It is equal to every emergency.”

Lord, thank You for the expression of Your love and grace through a salvation that is shockproof, unbreakable, and all sufficient.
