CONSTANT COMMUNION

Psalm 63

My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. Psalm 63:8

When we think about the good things in life, one thing overshadows all the rest, and that is fellowship with God. No one can take His place in our lives. As much as we love our family members and friends, the greatest friendship we will ever experience is with Jesus Christ.

He knows your heartache and your joys. He never tires of you but is always excited to hear your voice calling out to Him in prayer. He has promised good things for those who SEEK HIM. If you want to f ind the key to the good things in life, discover the fellowship that God has waiting for you through Jesus Christ.

In My Utmost for His Highest, Oswald Chambers writes,

To be so much in contact with God that you never need to ask Him to show you His will, is to be nearing the final stage of your discipline in the life of faith. When you are rightly related to God, it is a life of freedom and liberty and delight; you are God’s will, and all your common sense decisions are His will for you unless He checks. You decide things in perfect delightful friendship with God, knowing that if your decisions are wrong He will always check; when He checks, stop at once.

Chambers describes life lived in constant communion with God. It is not the life of a reclusive servant, but the life of a child of God who is living in perfect fellowship with Jesus Christ.

How thankful I am, dear Lord, that You know my heartache and my joys. You never tire of me. You are always excited to hear my voice calling out to You.
